Tekmar-Dorhman Phoenix 8000 TOC (Total Organic Carbon) Analyzer - Status: No Longer Available
|
The Tekmar-Dorhman Phoenix 8000 TOC Analyzer utilizes UV light and chemical oxidation techniques to break down species containing organic carbon (such as polymers or surfactants) to CO2 which is then analyzed using a non-dispersive infra-red (NDIR) detector for quantification. The instrument can analyze samples containing as little as 2 ppb carbon and is capable not only of TOC analysis, but also total carbon (TC) and inorganic carbon (IC) analysis. Combined with Windows-driven software and a 72-position autosampler, this instrument is an extremely sensitive and powerful analytical tool that can analyze for organic species which are otherwise undetectable by more conventional means.Latest Status Log Entry |
